Evolution Aqua New Products

There is currently a delay on the Silkworm Pupae and the Freshwater Shrimp but this should be with us the week commencing the 24th July.
Initial feedback from the new food E.A.one has been good ,although early days things look very promising indeed.
Extension to Premises Mk 2
Work has begun on the extension to our premises this will eventually hold an extra 4-5000 gallons of koi keeping space. Again all new ponds and vats will be individually filtered incorparating Sieve and Beadfilter systems to give you the customer another angle on koi filtration.

Shipment News
Just to let everyone know that our Spring Shipment have settled in superbly,not one loss and the condition of the fish is absolutely fantastic its like they have been with us for months.
Full quarantine is still ongoing but viewing of the koi is now available to the general public so feel free to visit us and take a look for yourselves, a few pictures of the new fish will be uploaded shortly to the website for you to check,these will be examples of the different varieties on offer to you this forth coming season.

Shipment Day has Arrived
This Thursday our shipment arrives from our buying trip in Japan last week, we have been working flat out on our ponds to ensure that each and every koi have the best possible conditions to settle down, and relax in after their long and tiresome journey from Niigata.
Each breeders koi will be placed in their own pond to minimize the risk of cross contamination just incase a problem does rare its head and all parametres and scrapes done accordingly. (Log available for viewing.)
The koi will be placed in a solution of Elgabin and Salt to destress and temperatures raised above 23 degrees.
Every breeder we purchase koi from complies with the stringent K.H.V testing that takes place in Japan. All Laboratory Result Test Certificates will be available for you to view on our premises, all conducted by the Japan Fisheries Resource Conservation Association.
As stated before we wish for our koi to settle in as well as possible so please, no viewing will be allowed currently but the koi selected will pull through and the premises will be a site to behold in the next few weeks.
If you have visited our site and have seen any koi that have been an intrest to you please feel free to email or ring us and we will be happy to help.
Many koi have still to be photographed (only three days pictures while in Japan) but these will be added to our koi for sale section as soon as they have settled down.
I personally would just like to take this opportunity to thank all those who have gone to the trouble of emailing us while in Japan and promise you all some fantastic koi and a healthy,happy 2007.

2...Expansion of our shop and new quarantine facility
Special thanks to Dave Arnold who fibreglassed our new show ponds and these will be up and running by the end of next week.
The ponds will be run on Evolution Aqua products for demonstration purposes and obviously for their performance.
The New quarantine area is nearly complete and again this will be completed by the end of next week ready for our new shipment of koi which will arrive on the 8th March.
Japan Spring 2007
Clint is back off to Japan on the Sunday 25th February and return on the 8th March this year. The Koi will be arriving back very quickly this year (4 days after Clint returns as due to hand picking Tosai while in Japan the breeders and ourselves think that the quicker the fish are shipped to the U.K the better due to koi that are handpicked having to be placed in seperate nets at each breeders facility.
No one will be allowed in the fish sales area for ten days after they have returned.The koi will be very stressed after their long journey from the hills of Niigata so if you are planning to view our new shipment please understand this procedure and appreciate that you will not beable to view the koi at this time.
The koi will then go through a full heat cycle quarantine procedure for a period of five weeks, the koi may be viewed and purchased but no fish will leave the premises until Clint is satisfied that they are in the finest of health.

Expansion Of Our Shop and New Quarantine Facility
Work has commenced this week on our expansion project. This will involve creating a professional quarantine and treatment facility, as well as paving the way for two new show ponds in earnest for the 2007 season.This work should be completed mid January ready for our buying trip in late February.

Nexus and Eazy Pod Sales Policy from 1st December 2006
This letter sets out to explain our new sales policy and the reasons for the changes.
Over the last 6 years with your help, the E.A brand has become highly respected within the aquatics industry. This is undoubtedly due to the performance of the products, dealers in store displays with good sales technique, post sales service, word of mouth testimonials and recommendations by the end users.
E.A has experienced another solid year of growth. However we are fully aware that some of our more professional dealers did not get the share they deserved of this extra business. These dealers did the pre sale groundwork but lost the sale to people who don’t use, display or have any ‘hands on’ experience of the product- via ‘internet only and auction sites. The problem is that our end consumers have not always received the standard of service they deserve due to lack of product knowledge by the seller.
For example, a number of customers have contacted us , with post sale queries and problems which were easily solved by E.A staff. When asked why they didn’t contact their supplying dealer, the answer all too frequently was , they had spoken to them but it was clear to the customer that the dealer had no hands on experience of running these products and could not offer the practical advice that they were looking for. Some end users had been recommended E.A products that were clearly not suitable for that particular application. Again lack of product familiarity was to blame.
Where Nexus and Eazy Pods where purchased from a dealer with no practical experience of there operation, the customer complained that either the seller couldn’t answer any specification questions, or had no available contact details. Invariably auction site sellers in particular could not , or would not provide any post sales customer service. On the limited occasions that they did respond to post sale queries they usually advised customers to ring E.A for help.
On several occasions we were faced with a situation were consumers had paid their dealer in full for E.A products and did not receive them. Eventually out of desperation they contacted us, only to discover that the dealers had disappeared. Some where not even E.A dealers and we had never dealt with them. We decided to send the goods free of charge to protect the reputation of our dealer network, but as you can imagine we were less than pleased with the situation.
With all of this in mind, we have decided on the following solutions effective from the 1st December 2006:
- We do not support ‘internet only’ dealers or auction websites because we feel that this route to market is not best suited for a technical product line such as ours.
- E.A will only accept orders for Nexus/Eazy Pods from dealers who currently have them running on as live pond for demonstration purposes therefore anyone who has not got an in-store demonstration unit should contact there key account manager before taking any more orders.
- All dealers and staff must be fully trained on E.A products by us.
- The products must be displayed in a professional manner and dealers must provide quality after sales service to their customers.
