Ea One koi Food has been developed in conjuction with Dragon Feeds to best suit the physiology of koi carp. Ea One koi Food contains worms, crustacea and vegetation. This is the staple diet of carp in the wild. Most current koi feeds, including winter 'wheatgerm - type' foods contain fish meal. Koi do not eat fish as part of their staple diet. The polychaete worms are farmed by Dragon, these contain high levels of natural compounds which explain the worm's ability to re-generate their bodies after being severed.  It is these regenerative compounds that have been shown to have therapeutic effects when fed to fish. All of this results in incredible growth and improved health which your koi will experience after being fed this ground-breaking new product. The use of polychaete worms in formulated feeds is protected by patent no. PCT/GB2003/005290
Feeding Guidelines:
EA One is an all year round food. First you will need to calculate the total weight of fish in your pond. An alternative to actually weighing your fish is to use the graph below. It shows typical average weights of koi at various lengths. For optimum benefit feed the amount of food suggested in the table below, which is a percentage of the total weight of your fish in relation to pond temperature..png)
Feed twice daily (morning & evening). E.g. if you have a pond containing 10kg of fish with a water temperature of 17 oC, the total amount of food fed each day is 1% of 10kg = 100g. This 100g should be fed 50g in the morning and 50g in the evening.

|  The 'Red Gammarus Pulex' freshwater shrimp is an ideal supplement to your daily koi feed. They are high in digestible protein and carotene (vitamin A and it's provitamins) which stimulate the natural digestive process in koi. They contain a natural colour enhancer and have a high nutritional value. Gammarus Pulex are only found in the cleanest, most unpolluted waters in the world. These particular shrimps are selected and harvested from the clearest streams in the Arctic. They cannot survive in any type of polluted water and so are very healthy and 'clean' food for your koi. It is best to feed the shrimps just before your normal koi food, as it will stimulate the digestive process enormously - it will also boost their vitality and colours.

Evolution Aqua silkworm pupae are an excellent and powerful supplementary feed for koi. Made from the highest quality silkworm pupae, they are carefully dried out to retain all the goodness with no additives or preservatives included. This product is an ideal food due to it being rich in proteins. It not only increases the growth rate of your koi but also enhances the colours. Silkworm pupae can be fed as a daily 'treat' or as a powerfood at maximum of 30% of total food volume. Due to the high protein and fat content values, it is recommended not to feed below temperatures of 15C/59F. To improve the digestion ability of your koi further, put the pupae in warm water for half an hour before use.
